The MACH L-1340 features a heavy-duty spindle housed in a robust headstock for increased flexibility and productivity (2.2kW/2570rpm).

The machine’s headstock is rigidly designed and built featuring British Matrix manufactured clutches, nylon safety pins in the end train and Chromium Molybdenum gears and shafts.

The MACH L-1340 has 1000mm distance between centres, 171mm height of centre and X-axis and Z-axis travels of 180mm and 100mm, respectively.

The machine is equipped with a 3-axis Newall DP 500 Digital Readout (DRO), 3 & $ jaw chucks and quick change tool posts.

The machine also features a) induction hardened and ground gears and shafts for reliable and long-life performance, b) Meehanite cast, anti-vibration and stress-relieved beds for high accuracy and process reliability featuring Turcite B coating between the bed and carriage, c) Anti-float-designed backlash eliminators for improved accuracies, surface finishes and tool life.

The lathe is equipped with a tailstock for increased flexibility and reliability (Quill diameter = 50mm; Quill travel = 112mm).

A variable speed option is also available.
